McNair Leaves With Injury to Right Leg

ATLANTA (AP)--Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair left Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with an injury to his right calf.

The team said his return was questionable.

McNair was hurt after throwing a 5-yard pass Frank Wycheck. After he released the ball, defensive end Patrick Kerney simply touched McNair, who took a tentative step and immediately reached for his calf.

He dropped to the turf, but walked off without any assistance.

Billy Volek replaced McNair.
